Residence Accademia provides a vehicle access permit for the ZTL and free parking in the nearby areas classified as zone 8/A. Once you enter the historic center, the area is a limited traffic zone (ZTL), so please drive carefully.

Main parking areas nearby: Here are some areas and squares where you can conveniently park before reaching the residence on foot or with a short walk:

• Piazza Mercatale: Large parking area, about a 5–7 minute walk to Via dell’Accademia. (Only blue-lined spaces along the perimeter; the spaces in the center of the square are paid parking.)
• Piazza del Castello (Via della Fortezza): Paid parking spaces, a very good starting point to walk to the residence.
• Via Filzi / Piazza San Francesco: Free or blue-lined parking spaces, very close to the center and to the residence.
• Multi-storey parking in Via Garibaldi: Convenient if you are arriving with a lot of luggage.
